Yessssssss. Yes I do. Also for the sake of including everyone who’s reading, let’s say that yes, I agree that two lesbian women can be just friends, I agree that two gay men can be just friends, I agree that a straight male and a straight female can be just friends, and ALL the inbetweens :)
I think all friendships and romances start with an attraction. Maybe it’s looks, maybe it’s interests, maybe it’s voice, maybe someone cracked a joke and you think “hey that’s MY sense of humor!” We’re all attracted to different things and it applies just as much to a lover as it does to a friend. If this weren’t true, lots of people wouldn’t consider their partners to also be their besties. It’s all about companionship in differing degrees.
